Varietal Coffees

    Brasil Cerrado “Porta Rossa”

A very smooth Brazilian Cerrado coffee which tastes best taken to a light French roast. We were impressed by the balance and lack of acidity in this coffee. You’ll notice an almost licorice-like aftertaste.
    Price per pound $10.75

    Costa Rica Tarrazu

Our Costa Rican coffee carries the SHB (Strictly Hard Bean ) label meaning it is grown above 3,900 feet. These beans have fine acidity, full body and vibrant flavor which give it a distinctive character - well balanced and sweetly smooth.
    Price per pound $10.75

Guatemala SHB Fancy “Tikal”

Grown at 4800 feet and processed to exacting standards for the specialty coffee market, this Guatemalan coffee has high acidity, medium to full bodied taste and a hint of smokiness.

Ethiopian Sidamo

From the birthplace of coffee - good acidity, smooth and hearty flavor.
The undertones are fruit like and flowery. We roasted it dark and it's still smooth and silky.

Ethiopian Harar Longberry

Harar coffee has medium acidity, full body and the distinctive deep mocha flavor. It is one of the finest premium coffees in the world and is grown at an altitude of 2000/2750 meters.

Papua New Guinea Tribal “A”

Grown in the highlands of New Guinea, coffee is the most important agricultural export for the native people. The coffee plants that bear these coffees are transplants from the famous Jamaican Blue Mountain coffee estates. New Guinea shares many of the unique flavors of Jamaican Blue. Look for a sweet acidic flavor with a bit of a wild and heavy body.

Sumatra Lintong

The name refers to the dark, almost blue color of the green beans. The bean is Indonesian, grown in the Lintong region, near Toba Lake in Central Sumatra. The name Lintong is from the ancient tribe that inhabited this area. Roasted to a dark or espresso roast. Medium-bodied coffee with low acid and an earthy aroma.
